I have a bed! With a mattress and everything. Went to Lowe's and got a bunch of wood sheets so, you know, I *had* a flat surface in which to put my mattress on cause all I had was an empty frame. Today I painted my room. It took four hours, two coats, and almost a whole gallon of paint, but it is no longer Blueberry. Instead it is Old Gold (or brown if you want to simplify things). I accomplished stuff today! Kinda. If driving around town for two hours looking for at paint colors counts as accomplishing stuff. Then I spent a half hour or so holding the colors I found that I liked up against the wall of what will become my room at the new house trying to picture what the room would look like entirely painted in that color ( Read more... )
